Marketing Operations Manager
Role Responsibilities:
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns that drive growth, member acquisition, product adoption, and engagement. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, digital advertising, performance reporting, creative alignment, and digital systems. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong communication skills who can translate between technical, creative, and data perspectives.
• Lead end-to-end execution of acquisition campaigns;
• Manage campaign routing, approvals, timelines, and cross-functional workflows;
• Manage and optimize digital ads across platforms (Google, Meta, programmatic);
• Maintain and manage campaign, communication, and email calendars;
• Lead weekly prioritization and timeline meetings;
• Oversee workflow accountability across Creative, Digital Systems, Data, and Operations;
• Run launch readiness checks and quality-control processes;
• Assist in developing strategic marketing plans that define objectives, target audiences, key messages, channel strategies, success metrics, and timelines;
• Stay informed of emerging marketing technologies, channel trends, and performance marketing best practices;
• Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports;
• Translate data trends into clear insights and actionable recommendations;
• Present performance narratives to leadership with clarity and confidence;
• Monitor funnel health from lead generation to onboarding and activation;
• Translate technical requirements from Digital Systems into marketing-friendly language;
• Collaborate with Creative to align messaging with strategy and performance;
• Work with Data partners to ensure reporting accuracy;
• Build strong, healthy cross-functional relationships that improve speed and quality;
• Direct and oversee the efforts of external agencies and resources as needed.

• Perform various other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing operations, growth, or digital marketing, preferably in the financial services industry;
• Experience managing complex campaigns with multiple moving parts;
• Experience managing digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta, display, or similar platforms.
• Experience collaborating across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Experience using marketing performance metrics to evaluate and optimize results.
Skills, Education and/or Certifications Required
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred;
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess good time management skills, and be very detail-oriented;
• Must be able to work well with individuals and groups that often have conflicting opinions, while consistently leading collaborative processes, workflow, teamwork and communications;
• The position requires a resourceful and strategic thinker with sensitivities to the nuances and complexities of communication to acutely diverse audiences;
• Must possess a commitment to diversity and the credit union’s mission, vision, and core values;
• Understanding of current marketing and communications trends, including digital advertising, social media, content marketing, and communications for the new member journey;
• Familiarity with marketing technologies, platforms, systems, and analytics;
• Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, and campaign management platforms;
• Skilled in big-picture thinking and strategic planning as well as presenting new ideas, strategies, and initiatives both proactively and responsively;
• Detail-oriented awareness and execution;
• Effective project management with competing timelines, priorities, and limited budgets;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to give presentations, lead meetings, and contribute to groups and gatherings of varied sizes;
• Ability to operate creatively, strategically, and consciously in a dynamic organization with many communication considerations rooted in culture and tradition;
• Professional demeanor, even under pressure;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite.
