Major Responsibilities:
- Create and articulate market strategies for Commercial Vehicle Products
- Develop and oversee social media, advertising, and promotional initiatives
- Design marketing materials and sales support documentation
- Assist with new program and product development activities
- Leads the market intelligence data collection efforts
- Conduct market analysis and perform competitor benchmarking
- Analysis of market to discover concerns, opportunities, and to define improvement needs.
- Establish and manage customer service operations
- Responsible for developing and presenting business cases for new business development activities.
- Provides input into the development of marketing strategies
- Actively participates as a key member of the Sales team. Responsible for setting the vision, strategy and objectives for commercial vehicle market.
- Develops and manages the annual marketing and business plan.
- Develops and coordinates the timing and implementation of detailed market and sales plans to support new products.
- Responsible for managing marketing budget.
- Responsible for overall market share growth.
- Builds and maintains relationships with OEM customer counterparts.
- Collaborate with OEMs and customers in product planning processes
- Supports continuous improvement ideas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Marketing / Business required, MBA preferred
- Computer literacy with Windows environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Negotiation skills
- Able to participate effectively in a team
- Self-motivated with good organization and planning skills
- Must have good people skills and be able to develop good working relationships with the customers, distributors, sales group, staff, etc.
- Able to act independently, efficiently, and ability to close open issues. Results oriented
- Travel when required
- Problem solving skills required
