2. About the Position
X-Rite is a global leader in color science and technology, providing color measurement instruments, software, and services to customers across printing, packaging, automotive, plastics, coatings, and other industries.
The Marketing Specialist, Korea will support business growth by planning and executing local B2B marketing programs, developing qualified leads, and enabling the Korea sales team. The role covers market analysis, quarterly promotions, trade shows, seminars and webinars, digital campaigns, content localization, and lead management.
This position works closely with the Korea sales team, APAC marketing, channel partners, and external vendors. Success will be measured through clear activity and pipeline KPIs, including campaign execution, MQL creation, lead follow-up, data quality, and contribution to new business opportunities.
3. Job Responsibilities
A. Market Analysis and Marketing Execution
- Conduct market, customer, industry, and competitor analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations for the Korea business
- Support annual marketing planning and develop quarterly promotions aligned with sales priorities, target segments, and product strategies
- Plan and coordinate trade shows, customer seminars, webinars, and in-house events, including vendors, logistics, materials, and on-site support
- Execute digital marketing activities such as website updates, social media posts, email campaigns, webinars, and paid campaign coordination
- Track campaign schedules, budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor deliverables to ensure accurate and on-time execution
- Maintain marketing collateral, promotional materials, event assets, and related inventory
B. Lead Generation and Campaign Management
- Manage first-line follow-up for inbound inquiries from the website, digital campaigns, events, and channel activities
- Qualify prospects and convert relevant inquiries into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for timely sales follow-up
- Conduct or coordinate post-event and campaign follow-up calls and emails to identify customer needs and sales opportunities
- Register leads, maintain customer and activity records, and ensure data quality in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Maintain lead, campaign, and weekly KPI trackers, including MQL volume, follow-up status, conversion, pipeline contribution, and next actions
- Analyze campaign results and recommend improvements to targeting, messaging, channel selection, and follow-up activities
C. Sales Enablement and Cross-functional Support
- Create and maintain sales support materials, standard documents, campaign templates, customer communications, and presentation content
- Localize global marketing content for the Korean market and coordinate reviews, revisions, production, and printing with internal teams and vendors
- Support demonstration equipment and catalog logistics when required, including shipment, return, inventory, and related documentation
- Collaborate with Korea sales, APAC marketing, channel partners, and external agencies; provide on-site support and travel domestically when required
4. Required Experience & Skills
Must-have Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, sales support, or a related commercial role
- Hands-on experience coordinating marketing campaigns, customer events, digital activities, or lead-generation programs
- Strong project management and multitasking skills, with accurate and on-time execution across multiple stakeholders
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including practical use of functions, pivot tables, data summaries, and business presentations
- Professional Korean communication skills and working-level English for business email, meetings, and global collaboration
Preferred
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, or equivalent platforms
- Experience in industrial, technology, printing, packaging, automotive, coatings, plastics, or other B2B markets
- Experience with digital marketing, content creation, social media, email campaigns, webinars, or paid media
- Ability to analyze market and campaign data and convert insights into practical commercial actions
5. Tools Used
- Salesforce (SFDC): Lead, customer, activity, campaign, and opportunity-related data management
- Microsoft 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Marketing automation and analytics tools: Pardot and other company-approved platforms
- Digital and creative tools: Website CMS, webinar platforms, social media tools, Canva, and Adobe applications
- AI productivity tools: Company-approved tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and DeepL
6. Language Skills
Korean: Native or full professional proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
English: Working proficiency for business emails, meetings, reports, and collaboration with regional and global teams.
