Master Planner

About the Position: Serves as a Master Planner supporting real property planning, programming, and long range development for Army operations at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson. Responsibilities include real property master planning, contract and project integration, unit stationing, sustainability and environmental considerations, and future development in accordance with applicable regulations.

Responsible for the overall development, coordination, and management of the installation's Real Property Master Plan. Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies into the master planning process.

Coordinates the planning, design, cost, engineering, construction, and environmental restoration for projects of substantial scope and complexity.

Exercises responsibility for the overall management of the installations Master Plan: develops, analyzes, determines and prepares necessary solutions to correct real property deficiencies.

Serves as the technical advisor and liaison for all matters applicable to master planning.

Ensures mobilization, peacetime, and emergency plans are properly integrated with the Master Plan through scheduled meetings with Directors and assigned action officers.

Administers the Military Construction Army (MCA) and Restoration and Modernization programs for the installation.
