Job Description – Master Trainer
Role: College Mobilisation & Training
Role Purpose
The Master Trainer will
play a dual role of College Coordinator and Trainer, with end-to-end
responsibility for college engagement, student mobilisation, counselling,
training delivery. The role will focus on building a continuous pipeline of
students from colleges, preparing them for training, independently delivering
assigned modules, and supporting student retention, completion and employment
readiness.
Key Responsibility Areas
1. College Engagement & Partnership Development
- Identify and establish relationships with colleges,
ITIs and other educational institutions in the assigned geography. Meet
College Principals, TPOs, Placement Officers, faculty and relevant SPOCs
to introduce and promote the programme.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with
college SPOCs to ensure continuous student mobilisation. Plan and conduct
college visits, programme orientations, presentations and awareness
sessions. Identify new colleges and institutions to expand the student
pipeline.
- Be willing to travel as required by the project for college engagement, mobilisation, orientations and training
activities.
2. Student Mobilisation & Counselling
- Conduct student orientation, career counselling and
programme awareness sessions.
- Explain programme benefits, eligibility, training
schedule, career opportunities and expectations to students.
- Follow up with interested students and convert
leads into registrations/enrolments.
- Ensure students are appropriately counselled before
joining the programme to minimise dropouts.
3. Batch Formation & Training Readiness
- Plan batches based on the student pipeline and
project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Centre Team for batch creation,
documentation, scheduling and other operational requirements.
- Ensure students complete the required enrolment and
documentation within timelines.
- Maintain a continuous pipeline so that the next
batch is ready while the current batch is under training.
4. Training Delivery
- Independently deliver training as per the approved
curriculum, session plans and quality standards.
- Primary training modules will include:
- AI and Digital Productivity
- Foundational Knowledge of Data Analytics
- Conduct practical activities, assessments,
exercises and learner engagement activities.
- Monitor attendance, participation, learning
progress and student performance.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned training
batches.
- Maintain training quality and ensure effective
learner engagement throughout the programme.
6. Placement & Career Readiness Support
- Work closely with the Placement Team to prepare
students for employment opportunities.
- Support employability, interview preparation and
career guidance.
- Encourage participation in placement drives.
- Track student interest and readiness for
employment.
- Support post-training follow-up wherever required.
7. Centre Operations & MIS
- Maintain accurate student, batch, attendance,
training and outcome-related records.
- Prepare required reports and provide regular
updates to the Project/Centre Team.
- Support centre activities, events, audits,
documentation and other operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Facilitators and Centre Team
members wherever additional support is required.
8. Community & Outreach Activities
- Support
local outreach activities to increase programme visibility and student
participation. Participate in career fairs, college events, community
events and other mobilisation activities.
- Develop
local networks with relevant stakeholders to strengthen student
mobilisation. Identify new outreach channels to increase registrations and
enrolments.
Qualification & Experience
- Education: Graduate in any relevant discipline. Preferable candidates with a
background in IT, Computer Applications, Data Analytics, Management or
related fields will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in
training, teaching, employability programmes, digital skills, college
engagement or student mobilisation.
- Training
Exposure: Prior experience in training/facilitation is mandatory,
with the ability to independently conduct classroom/online training for
college students or young learners.
- Technical
Knowledge: Good working knowledge of AI and Digital Productivity
tools, along with foundational knowledge of Data Analytics.
- Should
be comfortable learning and delivering new-age digital tools, technologies
and concepts.
- Mobility: Should be willing and comfortable to travel and mobilise
colleges/students as per project requirements, including visits to
colleges, institutions and other outreach locations.
