Job Duties:
- Read ship cards accurately and pull/stage orders without error
- Coordinate with management and operators to stage material ahead of production order needs
- Use handheld scanners and follow established processes and procedures accurately
- Maintain floor and shelf organization to maximize space utilization
- Take ownership of steel bar and dumbbell inventory — maintain accuracy and detail
- Use prybar tools to safely unload trucks and position steel bar
- Identify and communicate ideas to improve material handling and delivery workflow
- Cross-support other areas with crane, forklift, or side loader as needed
- Model safe equipment operation and hold team members to the same standard — safety leadership, not just personal compliance
- Understand and follow proper steel bar stacking and racking procedures to prevent falling-material hazards and product damage
- Maintain awareness of OSHA regulations and facility-specific safety requirements
- Performing other tasks as assigned
