Plan, design, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems for marine and foreshore construction projects.

Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pumps, pipelines, dredging equipment, cranes, conveyors, and other marine mechanical systems.

Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations.

Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and marine engineers to ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare mechanical design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules.

Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems.

Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation.

Manage procurement activities, including technical evaluation of mechanical equipment and vendor selection.

Supervise marine equipment operations, including barges, dredgers, winches, hydraulic systems, and lifting equipment.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to marine and coastal construction activities.

Perform risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement safe work procedures.

Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion.

Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, maintenance records, and progress updates.

Support commissioning, performance testing, and handover of completed mechanical systems.

Investigate equipment failures and recommend engineering solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.

Participate in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities during project execution.

Ensure all marine mechanical assets are maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.

Assist in developing project plans, cost estimates, and maintenance strategies.
