Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning works.
Prepare work schedules, manpower allocation, and daily work plans to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements before execution.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
Prepare material requisitions and ensure timely procurement of mechanical equipment and spare parts.
Troubleshoot mechanical system issues and recommend effective technical solutions.
Supervise preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and emergency repair works for mechanical systems and equipment.
Ensure proper documentation, including service reports, inspection records, maintenance logs, and project progress reports.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of completed mechanical systems.
Monitor the performance and productivity of technicians and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical advice when required.
Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance, or construction projects.
Experience in mechanical systems such as pumps, ventilation systems, jet fans, HVAC, piping, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Familiar with Singapore WSH regulations and safe work practices.
Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess a Class 3 driving licence (preferred, if site travel is required).

Working Conditions:

Work may involve both office and site-based duties.
Willingness to travel to multiple project sites across Singapore.
May be required to work after office hours, weekends, or public holidays when necessary to support project or maintenance operations.
