Auto-Chlor System is hiring a Mechanical Installer to install commercial dishwashing equipment for restaurants and commercial kitchens throughout Indianapolis.
We're not looking for someone who has installed commercial dishwashers before.
We're looking for someone who already knows how to install things.
The Job
After a new customer joins Auto-Chlor, you'll be responsible for physically installing their commercial dishwashing equipment.
Depending on the location, you may work with smaller equipment or larger commercial machines with additional components and conveyor systems.
You'll:

Complete equipment installations from start to finish

Measure, assemble, connect, adjust, and secure equipment

Use hand and power tools daily

Work with mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical components

Troubleshoot problems that come up during an installation

Test your work before leaving the customer location

Work independently and take ownership of your installations

Communicate directly with customers

Show restaurant staff how to operate and care for their new equipment

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate that they've personally installed, built, connected, repaired, fabricated, maintained, or troubleshot equipment or mechanical systems.
Simply being around tools isn't enough—you should already be comfortable using them to solve problems.

Pay & Schedule

$56,000–$65,000 first-year earnings, including overtime and on-call pay

Monday–Friday

7:00 AM–4:00 PM

On-call rotation approximately every 7–8 weeks

Requirements
-
Previous professional hands-on installation, mechanical, repair, maintenance, or trade experience

Comfortable using hand and power tools independently
-
Mechanical troubleshooting/problem-solving ability
-
Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years
-
Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
