Mechanical Product Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Independently draft and update data center-related drawings, including room-level/facility-level floor plans and rack layout diagrams. Adjust and refine drawings based on project proposals and technical specifications to ensure design consistency with field implementation conditions.

  2. Establish complete sets of technical constraints (including 3D models, 2D drawings, technical specifications, assembly requirements, and interchangeability standards) to ensure high-quality product delivery according to schedule.

  3. Work closely with the presales team to provide design support for data center projects, ensuring technical deliverables meet specified quality standards across all project phases.

  4. Apply innovative thinking, methodologies, and tools during project execution to lead the resolution of technical issues and achieve target deliverables.

  5. Lead the end-to-end technical delivery for white space products under ETO (Engineer-to-Order) and CTO (Configure-to-Order) models, serving as the primary mechanical technical lead across the full project lifecycle (bidding, design, manufacturing, and delivery).

  6. Support the definition of product specifications and the formulation of Verification & Validation (V&V) plans; drive the implementation of technical measures.

  7. Propose alternative technical solutions aligned with overall project goals (including customer requirements, schedule, cost, industrialization, and quality) to guarantee on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

  8. Actively participate in team capability building, knowledge sharing, and technical innovation initiatives.

Core Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

  2. 5+ years of relevant experience in data center or edge computing infrastructure products (e.g., IT racks/cabinets, hot/cold aisle containment, rPDU, power distribution cabinets, etc.).

  3. Strong organizational and coordination capabilities with a proven track record of managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously under tight deadlines; proactive in identifying project risks to ensure high-quality product execution.

  4. Proven experience as a core mechanical product manager having completed at least 3 successfully delivered projects. Extensive design experience in sheet metal, plastic parts, packaging design, cable harnesses, labeling/marking, and fasteners.

  5. Proficient in CAD design tools and expert in mainstream 3D modeling software such as Creo or SolidWorks.

  6. Excellent leadership skills, ability to work independently, and a strong sense of self-motivation and initiative.

  7. Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a collaborative team spirit, open mindset, and goal-driven orientation.

  8. Excellent command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

  9. In-depth understanding of the complete product lifecycle across design, engineering, and industrialization processes.
