Medical Lab Tech Program Director

Fortis College is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to serve as Program Director at its Baton Rouge campus. To provide lab and/or classroom instruction, clinical oversight, prepare progress reports for students, evaluate textbooks, advise students, reference books and other teaching materials, manage program faculty, manage program outcomes, etc. Positive, energetic, detail-oriented, and extremely professional candidates are encouraged to apply to join our faculty and help students create better lives through education!

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s degree
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience postsecondary teaching
• Current ASCP certification
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
• Ability to travel to clinical sites if needed
• The desire to help others succeed in their career goals
