Mental Health Practitioner - Evening Shift

Our team is seeking a full-time Mental Health Practitioner to work the evening shift. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder.

You will work alongside a team of professionals to provide services in the areas of mental health, co-occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills. Responsibilities

• Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
• Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
• Facilitate residential program activities, classes and groups
• Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.
