Mental Health Therapist

Per-Diem Therapist -- Partial Hospital Program

Under the direction of program leadership, this therapist provides group and individual therapy for adults on an as needed basis, up to 20 hours/week. Candidates are expected to be able to utilize evidenced based practices with a broad range of mental health problems, and to be comfortable using group and individual modalities. Tasks are primarily running groups in our adult and adolescent Partial Hospital Programs but at times will also include intake evaluations, active outreach & engagement, individual psychotherapy, crisis intervention & risk assessment, collaboration with program psychiatrists, coordination of care with other service providers, and required documentation.

Other preferred or required qualifications:

1. Prior experience in a hospital or community mental health agency
2. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
3. Basic computer literacy, experience with electronic health records

Licensed Social Worker, LMHC, or NYS Licensed psychologist.

MHC-LP with relevent experience will be considered.

Pay :$40-$42hr
