Mental Health Worker
The Geropsychiatric Unit is a 14-bed unit designed for short-term evaluation and treatment of severe clinical depression, psychiatric complications of dementing illness, and other problems requiring 24-hour hospital care.
Position shift: 3 12-hour shifts 7p-7:30a with rotating weekends /36 hours weekly
As a Mental Health Worker you will:
- Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.
- Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.
- Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures
Requires:
- HS Diploma/GED. Human Services related degree or past direct care or related experience strongly preferred.
- Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
- All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
The pay range for this position is $19.06 minimum to $22.95 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
