Metal Hardware Development Engineer – Luxury Fashion

A luxury fashion brand based in Lombardia, Italy is looking for a Metal Hardware Technical Developer. In this role, you will oversee the development of metal hardware for leather goods, managing projects with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include providing technical support to teams, managing development phases, and negotiating costs. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Materials Technology or Engineering and extensive experience in metal hardware development, along with fluency in both Italian and English. Provide technical support to design and product development teams. Manage the development phase to define requirements and quality. Establish a strong and collaborative relationship with suppliers. Proven experience in metal hardware development or a similar role. Strong knowledge of metal hardware design and manufacturing. Previous experience with high fashion or luxury brands is a plus.
