Microsoft DevOps Engineer
Summary
Designs and maintains Azure DevOps pipelines and Windows Server environments for enterprise applications, focusing on CI/CD, automation, and troubleshooting across multiple release stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server (On-Premises).
- Administer Windows Server VMs, build agents, web servers, and application services.
- Manage application releases across Development, UAT, Staging, and Production environments.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, and network-related issues.
- Automate deployments and infrastructure tasks using PowerShell/C#.
- Manage SQL Server, T-SQL, DACPACs, and database deployment automation.
- Configure and optimize IIS, SSL certificates, and application pools.
- Implement Git workflows, branching strategies, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Systems Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server (On-Premises) and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Experience with Windows Server, Virtual Machines, IIS, and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, DACPACs, and database deployment automation.
- Good understanding of .NET and C# for troubleshooting builds and application issues.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
- Experience with release management, UAT environments, and automated testing.
- Good troubleshooting skills across IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, and network-related issues.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and security best practices is preferred.
- Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with Exchange of Information (EOI) systems is preferred.
