Ignite Digital Services seeks an experienced Analyst to independently execute business analysis, data analytics, and decision-support work infrastructure in support of a large federal enterprise multi-domain data ecosystem. This role provides autonomy and wide analytical scope in support of mission-critical insights and decision-making, while delivering within a larger team project management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and produce detailed requirement documentation.
- Develop dashboards, models, and analytical workflows.
- Perform advanced statistical, predictive, or exploratory analysis.
- Develop business requirements documents, user stories, and detailed process diagrams.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solution approaches.
- Evaluate alternatives and build cost-benefit/risk models.
- Produce decision briefs and clearly communicate technical findings.
- Contribute to data governance, security, and automation initiatives.
- Partner with technical teams and program leadership to align on actionable insights.
Required Skills
- Strong SQL, Python, and analytical modeling skills.
- Experience with dashboards and BI tools (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, MS365/Power Platform).
- Experience performing quantitative, predictive, or decision analysis.
- Independent client-facing communication, requirements facilitation and structured problem-solving.
- Ability to synthesize complex datasets and communicate insights clearly.
Desired Skills
- Experience with cloud analytics environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience supporting federal clients or mission environments.
- Familiarity with ML, forecasting, or decision science frameworks.
- Intermediate certifications (GSEC, Security+, SSCP); or advanced certifications (CCISO, CISM, CISSP, GSLC).
Clearance Requirements
- U.S. Citizen — Secret or TS/SCI eligible
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, CS, engineering, math, economics, or related field.
- 3+ years professional analytical experience.
Work Location: National Capital Region
- On-client site with potential for hybrid telework
Internal Salary Guidance
- This position could fit contract Journeyman functional roles with T&M Rate card salary ceiling of: Business Analyst $120,000, Data Analyst $115,000, Decision Analyst $100,000
