Mid-Level Backend PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using PHP and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel or similar).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration across the application stack.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Design, manage, and optimize relational databases, ensuring efficient schema design and high-performance queries.
• Work with DevOps teams to support deployment pipelines, environment management, and source control processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and MVC architecture.
• Solid experience with Laravel or other modern PHP frameworks.
• Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and feature tests.
