Mid-Level Front End Engineer

We're looking for a Mid-Level Front-End Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the ongoing development and growth of our RaptorOS web application. You'll take ownership of front-end features, contribute to technical decisions, and work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features within the RaptorOS web application.

• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and Next.js.

• Take ownership of front-end features from implementation through to testing and delivery.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of back-end services and REST APIs.

• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to plan and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application functionality and performance.

• Contribute to the planning, technical design, and implementation of new product features.

• Work across different areas of the application and supporting infrastructure as required

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong experience developing modern web applications using React and Next.js.

• Good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.

• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.

• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

• Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical problems.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.

Desirable

• Experience developing back-end services and REST APIs using NestJS.

• Experience with Python and Python-based web services.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL and relational databases.

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerised applications.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
