Mid-level Full Stack Developer – Shopify

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architecture for client projects
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain robust Shopify apps, themes, and integrations
• Architect custom Shopify apps and Checkout Extensions
• Design scalable theme builds and integrate APIs
• Advise on technical risk during discovery sessions
• Define and uphold technical governance across multiple projects
• Mentor and support developers, conduct reviews, and foster professional growth
• Collaborate with project managers and client stakeholders to scope complex technical requirements

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a full stack developer (3+ years in commercial environments)
• Proven track record delivering responsive Shopify/Shopify Plus websites (2+ years minimum)
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Store 2.0, Liquid, and Shopify APIs
• Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
• Experience with React (Remix / Next.js)
• Experience with backend languages/frameworks, preferably Node.js or Ruby
• Strong understanding of RESTful/GraphQL APIs and cloud-based/serverless architectures
• Proficient in Git and version control workflows within multi-developer teams
• Solid experience with databases, migrations, and relational data structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client-facing roles
