Mid Level Java Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Java-based services and APIs using Spring Boot, AWS, and automated testing, while collaborating in an agile team and mentoring peers.
Responsibilities
- Understand customers' business problems and pain points.
- Write high-quality software code.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Help solve business problems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams following an agile delivery model.
- Mentor and train team members, developing successors.
- Communicate in English, actively participating in meetings and reviewing and writing technical documents in English.
Requirements
- Advanced English (daily contact with people outside Brazil).
- Availability to work at our Campinas office 3x/week.
- Proven experience with Java and SpringBoot.
- Strong experience developing Java-based services and APIs.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Proven experience in automated test development and a solid understanding of the Test Pyramid concept.
- Deep understanding of GIT.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies.
- Nice to have: Experience with SRE practices.
