Mid QA Engineer supporting delivery of high-quality software by executing manual tests, documenting defects, and collaborating with Agile teams to ensure applications meet requirements and acceptance criteria.
Roles & Responsibilities
Execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to find scenarios.
Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with evidence.
Provide detailed bug reports, including steps, expected/actual results.
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and with developers/Product/Business teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related field.
2–3 years QA Testing experience
Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Experience or familiarity writing and executing test cases and scenarios.
Strong analytical problem-solving and attention to detail.
Good written/verbal communication and collaborative Agile mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to API testing tools like Postman.
Basic SQL/database validation knowledge.
Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, or other test management tools.
Basic UI/UX and usability testing familiarity.
Exposure to QA automation or scripting (plus).
