Your responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters and container services, with a focus on Red Hat OpenShift (on-premises), ECS, EKS and AKS.
  • Develop automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline container deployment and management.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, platform, and security teams to ensure robust platform operations and governance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on container orchestration and scheduling platforms (OpenShift, ECS, EKS, AKS).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure performance.
  • Design and enforce Kubernetes security policies, RBAC, and network policies.
  • Lead migration and modernization initiatives from legacy systems to Kubernetes platforms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 + (Mid position) / 6+ (Senior position) years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (self-managed or OpenShift Dedicated).
  • Proficiency with AWS ECS and EKS, and familiarity with Azure AKS.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools like ArgoCD and Flux
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, controllers, CRDs, and Operators.
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
  • Experience with observability tools.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools.
