Mid/senior backend Java developer in Johannesburg building and maintaining Java 8/11 Spring applications, with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift), SQL databases, and CI via Bitbucket/Bamboo; role includes supporting legacy apps on JBoss, PrimeFaces, and EJB.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesEducation and Experience BSc Computer Science or equivalent 3-year IT qualification 6+ source code Java (version 8) development experience (backend) Java 8 or Java 11 extensive experience Spring framework experience Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, etc.) – understanding, prefer hands-on experience.
