Middle Data Engineer
Summary
Designs and maintains cloud-based data pipelines and architectures to process and analyze large datasets for analytics and machine learning, using Python, SQL, and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks)
- Integrate and manage diverse datasets, ensuring accessibility and quality for analytics and machine learning
- Design and maintain cloud-native, high-performance data architectures that scale with our business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient data solutions
- Analyze data and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to uncover trends and support decision-making
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud data technologies and industry best practices, bringing innovation to our data ecosystem
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong experience with Python and SQL
- Solid knowledge of Spark/PySpark for distributed data processing
- Experience with AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda) or Azure Databricks (Delta Lake, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, DevOps)
- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink) would be a plus
- Infrastructure knowledge (Kubernetes, Terraform) would be a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- B2+ English, with experience communicating with English-speaking customers
