Summary

Middle full-stack engineer building a multi-tenant, cloud-based HRIS platform (payroll, benefits, time & attendance, core HR) on a distributed Agile team. Day-to-day work spans Java/Spring backend, Angular or React frontend, SQL databases, shift-left testing, and AI-assisted development with tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.

  • Develop new features and enhance existing HRIS functionality
  • Build backend components using Java and Spring
  • Develop and modernize user interfaces with Angular
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to production release
  • Follow a shift-left approach, taking ownership of testing and verifying your solutions
  • Work with relational databases and SQL as part of product development
  • Contribute to planning, estimation, code reviews, and other Agile team activities
  • Use GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and other AI tools to improve development quality and productivity
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Hands-on full-stack software development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring
  • Experience developing frontend applications with Angular or React
  • Understanding of modern web application architecture and development practices
  • A quality-focused mindset and ownership of testing
  • Ability to work effectively within a distributed Agile team
  • Willingness to use modern AI tools in day-to-day development

Nice to have:

  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Experience developing multi-tenant cloud SaaS solutions
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms or other human resources technology products

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to help develop a multi-tenant, cloud-based HRIS platform.

As part of a distributed Agile team, you will build new features and modernize existing functionality across payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and core HR products.
