Full-Stack .NET Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain web apps using .NET/C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and SQL for a global client team.
We are looking for a talented Full-Stack .NET Engineer to join an established, cross-functional application development team.
In this role, you will play a key part in accelerating our development pace, shaping robust solutions, and delivering impactful new features to our client. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working on evolving products, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference.
Please note: coverage until 2 PM CST is required.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and debug web applications
- Develop new features on top of the existing product
- Build new system components and integrate third-party products into the existing application framework as appropriate to meet requirements
- Follow development best practices and participate in code reviews
- Focus on quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Perform development testing to ensure implemented work matches expected requirements and quality
- Carefully review requirements during product backlog refinement/grooming meetings
- Support and improve existing infrastructure
- Participate in pager duty rotations
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in .NET/C#
- Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
- Skills in HTML and CSS
- Significant experience with the ASP.NET MVC pattern
- Familiarity with Bootstrap
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work as an active member of a large, globally distributed development team
- Proactiveness, responsibility for results, and care about code quality
- Capability to provide accurate estimation of work and timely communication of status and impediments
- Stress tolerance and customer focus
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with ASP.NET WebForms and/or transforming WebForms to MVC
- Knowledge of LINQ
- Familiarity with Bootstrap CSS
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Leadership skills
