Middle/Senior UX/UI Designer position (contract)

This position is only for a particular project, not a full time position.

In this case, the social package (sick leaves, days off, vacation, necessary equipment provision, etc) is not covered by Selecto.

Projects
1. Corporate website for a UAE government entity. A narrative-led, editorial experience that brings the organisation’s story, vision and legacy to life.
2. Digital platform for one of the UAE’s leading philanthropic foundations, as it shifts from charitable giving towards sustainable development. A discovery-led engagement focused on clarity, trust and impact storytelling.

Market: the United Arab Emirates.
Team composition: UX/UI Designers, Project Manager, Content and Development team, Design Director.
Engagement Duration: 2 months (each project) with a high probability of prolongation.
Expected working hours: from 8 am Kyiv time.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality interfaces for websites
• Translate brand guidelines and business goals into cohesive, visually distinctive digital experiences
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Build, maintain, and evolve design systems and UI component libraries
• Contribute to user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis
• Work closely with developers to ensure design quality through implementation
• Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and business needs
  
  

Requirements

Experience

• 4+ years of UI/UX design experience
• Experience designing across web, mobile web, and native app platforms
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design and UX thinking

Skills

• Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, design tokens)
• Strong visual design skills: typography, color, layout, and attention to detail
• Strong command of responsive and adaptive design principles
• Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered design
• Ability to work within and contribute to multi-brand design systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
• Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
