MIS Manager

Department: MIS / Business Reporting
Experience: 7 to 12 Years
Work Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Track business performance, sales targets, revenue, lead conversion, productivity, and operational KPIs.
• Consolidate data from multiple departments and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
• Automate recurring reports and improve existing reporting processes.
• Analyze performance trends, identify gaps, and highlight areas requiring management attention.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, and other teams to collect and validate business data.
• Prepare performance reports and presentations for senior management.
• Establish standard reporting formats, KPI trackers, and review mechanisms across departments.
• Monitor data quality and ensure timely updates from all stakeholders.
• Support business planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance review activities through data analysis.
• Lead and guide the MIS team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7 to 12 years of experience in MIS, business reporting, sales analytics, or management reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, Power Query, and complex formulas.
• Hands-on experience with Google Looker Studio and Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in report automation, data consolidation, and KPI tracking.
• Good understanding of sales performance, revenue reporting, and operational metrics.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM or other business reporting systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and meet strict deadlines.
• Team management experience is preferred.
