Mission Control Software Engineer (Mid-Senior)

ALTEC S.p.A. in Torino is seeking a Mid-Senior Software Engineer (Mission Control) to join the team responsible for software data systems supporting mission control centers, planning functions and ground segment operations.

You will collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, mission operators and infrastructure engineers to define, implement, test and maintain robust software that interfaces ground stations and control systems.

Definition, implementation, integration, test and maintenance of software data systems for Mission Control Center nominal activities. Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, mission operators and infrastructure engineers during project phases. Drive innovation and excellence in software engineering for mission planning functions. Define and implement software requirements, design and tests. Prepare system documentation and perform debugging and profiling in distributed environments. MSc or equivalent degree in software or computer engineering with high score. At least three years of experience as Software Engineer. Experience with object-oriented programming in Java or C++. Familiarity with UML and Git. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
