Our Role

We're looking for a Mobile App Developer with experience in either iOS or Android development to join our team in Christchurch.

This role offers far more than feature development. You'll contribute across the entire product lifecycle, from early discovery and solution design through to development, testing, release, and ongoing improvements.

Working alongside a collaborative team of peers, designers and product owners, you'll help create mobile and web applications that are intuitive, reliable, and genuinely useful.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS or Android
• Build new features across mobile and web products
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and shape solutions
• Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues
• Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing support activities
• Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, usability, and quality

You'll be naturally curious, technically capable, and motivated by solving real-world problems. You enjoy working closely with others, value good user experiences, and take pride in writing clean, maintainable code. Ideally, you will bring:

• 2-5 years' experience in mobile application development (iOS or Android)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding best practices
• A genuine interest in mobile technologies and emerging trends
• A user-first approach to product development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
• A desire to keep learning, improving, and challenging yourself
• Experience working within agile or collaborative development environments
