iOS & Flutter Developer
Wellington | Hybrid | Intermediate to Senior

🌱 Spring is here. Time for something new?Longer days, a bit more sunshine, and maybe a good excuse to shake things up.
We’re looking for a mobile developer who knows their way around iOS, enjoys solving tricky problems and likes working with good people on interesting projects.
You could be a strong intermediate developer ready to step up, or a senior developer looking for more influence. We’ll shape the role around what you bring.

📱 iOS is your thingOur biggest requirement? You know iOS.
You’ll have solid commercial experience with Swift and SwiftUI, plus enough UIKit to confidently work with established apps.
You’ll be comfortable with mobile architecture, APIs, state management, testing, performance, networking, accessibility and security.
🦋 Flutter? Sweet as.We’d also like some genuine hands-on Flutter and Dart experience.
You don’t need equal depth across both stacks. If iOS is your strength and you’re keen to keep growing your Flutter skills, that’s all good.
Flutter platform channels or native integration experience is a bonus.
🌤️ What makes this role interesting? You won’t be doing the same thing every day.
You’ll work across different products, clients and problems, alongside designers, developers, producers and QA.
Sometimes you’ll have a polished brief. Sometimes you’ll have half a brief and a tricky problem to solve. You’ll need to be comfortable with both.
You’ll have a voice in technical decisions and work across the full lifecycle, from early thinking through to release.

You’ll get to:
  • Build production apps with Swift, SwiftUI and Flutter/Dart
  • Work with UIKit and established iOS codebases
  • Shape architecture and make pragmatic technical decisions
  • Integrate APIs and write automated tests
  • Work with Xcode, Git, CI/CD and mobile release tooling
  • Use Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Codemagic, App Store Connect and TestFlight
  • Work directly with clients and explain technical trade-offs
  • Explore AI-assisted development without blindly shipping AI-generated code
🧠 We reckon you’ll be great if...You’ve shipped commercial mobile apps and understand what happens after the code leaves your laptop.
You take ownership, ask good questions, spot risks early and know when to keep things simple.
You can talk tech without the jargon, enjoy collaborating and care about building quality experiences.
Context switching experience is a big plus. If you’re comfortable jumping between projects, clients and imperfect briefs, you’ll probably fit right in.
