As a Mobile Service Technician, you're the person who keeps those units running safely and reliably, working hands-on with electrical systems, mechanical components, and fabrication tasks both in the shop and out in the field. Your work directly protects the reliability of vehicles that save lives.
What Does a Week in the Life of the Mobile Service Technician Look Like?

Rolls out to a customer site to diagnose an electrical fault on a mobile unit's power system

Reads through prints and manuals to confirm the right materials and dimensions for a fabrication repair

Uses welders and fastening equipment to install and align new components
-
Cleans and details finished work areas to meet Frazer's quality standard
-
Logs accurate maintenance records for the service vehicle after every job
-
Coordinates with distribution and engineering teams to source parts or flag recurring issues
-
Mentors a junior technician through a tricky diagnostic call (Mobile Service Technician III+)
-
Recommends a process change after spotting a recurring issue across several service calls (Mobile Service Technician IV)
Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.

At least two years of professional experience in a mechanical background
Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience working on ambulances or mobile healthcare units

Comfort working directly with customers in the field

Working knowledge of welding and fastening equipment
