Mobile Web Developer

Skills Required

• Mobile development experience (Preferably extending WebViews with native code)

• Database skills (MSSQL, other SQL database experience is fine)

• Familiarity with server / command line environments

• Strong skills in Typescript, both for client-side and server environments

• Frontend / UI design (React, HTML, SCSS)

• Good knowledge of internet protocols and standards

• Basic GIT usage

• API design & implementation

• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.).

• Experience with media streaming, routing, storage, and processing from user devices (webcam, audio, etc.)

Purpose

This role involves testing and evaluating new programs. Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications. Strong technology, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Develop, test and implement new software programs

• Design and update and configure software tools.

• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and provide technical support colleagues

• Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization

• Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages

• Writing and implementing efficient code.

• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues

• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing

• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability

• Resolve complex technical design issues

• Internal system administration and maintenance.

• Occasional technical support requests.

• Development of technical specifications and plans

• Analyse user requirements and convert requirements to design documents

• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges

• Data management, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including reporting and data visualization.
