MongoDB Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Database Administrator to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing MongoDB databases, ensuring high availability and performance. As a MongoDB Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MongoDB databases, as well as performing regular patching and upgrades. You will also be involved in database migration projects and will need to optimize queries for performance improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB databases in a production environment. - Perform regular database patching and upgrades to ensure system security and performance. - Manage database migrations and ensure data integrity during the process. - Optimize database queries and performance tuning to enhance application efficiency. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for database-related issues and implement corrective actions. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in MongoDB administration and database management. - Proficient in patching, migration, query optimization, and performance tuning. - Solid understanding of Linux, RHEL, and UNIX operating systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform RCA. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
