Summary
Develops and maintains secure .NET web applications, APIs, and marketing sites hosted on Microsoft Azure at Samsung SDS in Singapore. Day-to-day work covers CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, cloud and web security, integration/UAT testing, documentation, and ongoing application support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements.
Design and develop scalable and secure .NET web applications (e.g. marketing systems, websites, microsites) and APIs.
Maintain backend services and application components hosted in Azure.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to automate deployment workflows for Azure-hosted applications.
Maintain web application security by performing security scans, code review and implementing best practices in authentication, authorization, data protection and secure coding.
Support cloud security inspection.
Responsible for application integration testing, user acceptance test and implementation roll-out.
Create user documentation and provide training to end-users.
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
3-5 years of web development working experience .
Cloud development experience with Microsoft Azure
(App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage). Hands-on experience with application and DB setup on web servers, including secure data encryption. Experience creating and managing
GitHub Actions
workflows, with strong understanding of secure CI/CD practices, including code signing, credential management and integrating security scans into pipelines. Strong understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities Knowledge in other web programming languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, Webpack, npm, Jest, Jasmine) is a plus. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Familiarity with web analytics tools, particularly Adobe Analytics tagging implementation, is a plus. Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Good communication and collaborative teamwork attitude. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to perform independently under tight timelines.
