Alliance Business Technologies is a leading Managed Services Provider supporting businesses across Australia with IT, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
We're looking for an experienced Business Support Team Leader to lead our Business Support function while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day delivery of licensing, renewals, agreements, billing, and operational support activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes and ensuring the operational side of a growing MSP runs efficiently and accurately.
About the Role
You'll lead a small team responsible for supporting our Operations, Sales, Account Management and Finance functions.
Your focus will be on ensuring licensing, agreements, renewals, procurement, and billing processes are well-managed while continually improving the systems and processes that support the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop the Business Support team
Manage team workload, priorities and performance
Oversee Microsoft and vendor licensing, procurement and renewals
Ensure customer agreements and billing data are accurate and up to date
Support quoting, proposals and account management activities
Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
Manage vendor relationships and administrative operations
Maintain data accuracy across ConnectWise and business systems
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Business Support, Operations Support or Sales Support role within an MSP
Experience leading or mentoring staff
Strong experience with ConnectWise Manage
Experience with licensing, renewals, agreements and billing processes
Excellent organisational and communication skills
High attention to detail and process accuracy
Desirable
Microsoft licensing experience
ConnectWise CPQ / Sell experience
Experience with vendor procurement and CSP programs
Experience with Ingram Micro Xvantage Cloud Market place would be highly considered
Exposure to process improvement or operational projects
