Sheraton Melbourne Hotel is seeking a dynamic Multi Property Sales Manager to join our Sales team and play a key role in driving group and catering business across multiple properties.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales / Assistant Director of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. You will focus on generating group and catering revenue, maximizing business opportunities, and delivering outstanding service throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new group and catering business opportunities.
  • Understanding market opportunities and driving revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Conduct sales calls, site inspections, trade shows, and client entertainment activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and off-property sales channels to ensure successful delivery of business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable client experiences.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence to support business development activities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality, guest services, or a related field.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, adaptability, and business acumen.
  • Proficiency with standard business and computer applications.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant sales or hospitality experience; or
  • Qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
