Multi-Skilled Welder & Fabricator
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Welder & Fabricator to carry out welding, fabrication, installation, and repair work across kitchen equipment, facility assets, and maintenance systems. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG/Argon welding skills and practical experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel.
Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG/Argon, MIG, and Arc welding for maintenance and fabrication projects.
Fabricate, modify, and repair stainless-steel and carbon-steel components.
Repair catering equipment, laundry machinery, pipes, tanks, brackets, frames, and other facility assets.
Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and finishing activities.
Inspect welds for strength, accuracy, and quality of finish.
Select suitable welding methods, tools, and materials for each job.
Follow hot-work permit requirements and all workplace safety procedures.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good condition.
Requirements
Technical qualification or trade certificate in Welding or Fabrication.
Minimum 5 years of relevant welding and fabrication experience.
Strong TIG/Argon welding skills, particularly on stainless steel.
Proficiency in MIG and Arc welding techniques.
Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and work independently.
Strong attention to detail, workmanship, and safety compliance.
