M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. (This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance)

You will be responsible for:

  • supporting in corporate and business planning and forecast process;
  • providing analytical support including budgeting preparation, monthly reporting, business case analysis and process improvement identification;
  • collecting and analysing business data from departments using appropriate analytical and statistical methodologies to derive cause and effect relationships, and funnel down to the root causes identification;
  • assisting in conducting analysis and market research on best practice of different operating models and supporting the implementation process;
  • liaising closely with other counterparts in aligning the operational and financial information and figures;
  • supporting the process of developing the KPI framework and preparing regular dashboard for management review;
  • supporting other business operations duties as assigned by supervisor as required; and
  • performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by M+.

You should:

  • possess university degree in business administration, finance, statistics or other relevant disciplines;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in business plan development, business and financial analysis in sizable organisation, commercial company or consulting firm;
  • be proactive, result-oriented and self-motivated;
  • possess analytical skills with acumen in numbers and information;
  • be able to work in a team with good communication and presentation skills;
  • be computer literacy in using MS Office and advanced knowledge in using data visualization tools will be an advantage; and
  • have good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage.
