Native Mobile Engineer — iOS/Android, AI‑savvy

ZURU Tech in Italy is seeking a product-driven engineer to own native mobile app development for iOS and Android. You will build and ship ZURU's consumer mobile apps on iOS and Android, and gate AI-generated code to ensure we understand what runs under the hood.

You will work with product designers and owners to shape features, rapidly prototype ideas, and guide decisions on native vs. cross-platform approaches, contributing to production-quality apps in a hybrid work setting.

Design, build and ship native mobile apps for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), from prototype to store release. Own the native mobile technology area: architecture, tooling, pipelines, store submission. Review and quality-gate native code, including AI-generated code, and fix issues. Collaborate with product designers and owners to shape features and UX. Prototype new ideas rapidly and scale successful ones to production apps. Advise on native vs cross-platform trade-offs and mobile best practices. Solid hands-on experience with native iOS development in Swift (SwiftUI / UIKit). Working knowledge of native Android development in Kotlin. Strong product sense and the ability to work autonomously across the full lifecycle of an app. Daily, fluent use of AI coding tools and the judgement to review their output critically.
