URGENT HIRING .NET C# DEVELOPER | ADVANCED EXCEL & ACTUARIAL CALCULATIONS

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Technical Skills – Mandatory

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core, Web APIs, and service-oriented architecture.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SQL query optimization, data modelling, and database performance.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

2. Advanced Excel – Mandatory

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel.
• Expertise in complex Excel formulas, functions, and data manipulation.
• Ability to interpret, validate, and troubleshoot spreadsheet calculations.
• Experience with data extraction, analysis, and complex dataset validation.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding financial accuracy.

3. Development Tools & Methodologies

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.
• Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain actuarial calculation modules using C# and .NET.
• Build and enhance APIs and calculation services for illustration and quoting platforms.
• Ensure calculations are accurate, performant, auditable, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with actuarial, product, QA, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
• Prepare and maintain clear technical and actuarial documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience interpreting and validating financial or actuarial calculations.
• Experience with insurance illustration or actuarial systems.
• Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORMs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET.
• Experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core and Web APIs.
• Strong Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas.
• Experience validating calculation logic and managing business rules.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to financial accuracy.

Important: Strong Advanced Excel skills and .NET/C# development experience are mandatory. Actuarial or insurance domain experience is an advantage
