Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Multan.
As the Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our network and systems infrastructure. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network availability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and other system settings.
- Perform regular backups of data to ensure data recovery in case of system failures.
- Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats.
- Identify areas for improvement in the network infrastructure and provide recommendations for enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with latest technology trends and make recommendations for implementing new technologies that will improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing protocols, BGP, LAN/WAN technologies, VPNs, firewalls, etc.).
- Proficient in administering Windows and Linux servers and desktops.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Familiarity with backup/recovery tools; Veeam preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical individuals.
Salary: $1000 per month.
Location: Multan. Accommodation not provided.
