Network Engineer - Architect
Key responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Design enterprise network architecture for campus, data center, and cloud-connected environments.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from solution design through implementation, testing, migration, and operational handover.
- Conduct customer workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
- Produce High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Technical Design Documents (TDD), Bill of Materials (BOM), implementation plans, and operational documentation.
- Design secure remote access solutions including SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and Zero Trust Network Access.
- Architect Network Access Control (NAC) solutions using Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass.
- Design and implement enterprise authentication solutions such as 802.1X, EAP-TLS, TACACS+, RADIUS, SAML, PKI, and certificate-based authentication.
- Deploy and migrate next-generation firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Check Point, and virtual firewall environments.
- Design high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and load balancing solutions.
- Lead firewall migration, network modernization, and technology refresh initiatives with minimal downtime.
- Perform network security hardening, vulnerability remediation, policy optimization, and compliance improvements.
- Develop User Acceptance Test (UAT), System Integration Test (SIT), and migration validation plans.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA), incident reviews, and change management for enterprise environments.
- Work closely with vendors, service providers, and internal technical teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
Job requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in enterprise networking and network security.
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale government or enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and secure network design.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
