Network Engineer (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain network security devices including Firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, WAF), Cisco routers, switches.

• Implement and manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel).

• Perform network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for complex network issues.

• Plan and execute network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

• Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Ensure network security compliance, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and adherence to security best practices.

• Ensure network infrastructure aligns with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR, or other applicable frameworks).

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams (Server, Security, Application) and business units to support network requirements.

• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines of network engineering focus

• At least 3 years of experience in enterprise-level network engineering

• Strong routing and switching background, with knowledge of BGP , OSPF, VPN, NAT, VLAN

• Hands-on experience configuring Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei routers and switches, as well as FortiGate firewall. Experience in troubleshooting will be an advantage

• Holder of professional certificate, such as CCNA, JNCIA, is preferred

• Self-motivated with strong initiative

• Able to work under pressure and independently

• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
