Network Engineer L1

We are seeking a dedicated Network Engineer L1 to join our team in Pune. This role is essential for providing technical support and troubleshooting for managed network services and business customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in network support and be adept at diagnosing connectivity issues, troubleshooting network equipment, and coordinating with internal teams and external service providers for timely resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot managed services equipment and network connectivity issues for business customers. - Diagnose and resolve issues related to circuits, routers, switches, and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). - Coordinate with off-net providers/vendors for connectivity and equipment-related issues. - Perform Layer 1 and Layer 2 troubleshooting. - Troubleshoot IP addresses, VLANs, Firewalls, and Gateways. - Utilize network monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify configuration and connectivity issues. - Provide remote technical support and ensure timely issue resolution. - Train and mentor support teams when required. - Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance and be flexible to work nights/weekends. Required Skills: - Strong experience in Layer 1 & Layer 2 troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with Routers, Switches, and Network Devices. - Good knowledge of IP Addressing, VLAN, Firewall, and Gateway configuration/troubleshooting. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Good verbal communication and customer-handling skills. - Ability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift environment. This position offers a competitive salary package ranging from 3.0 Lakh INR to 6.0 Lakh INR, based on current or previous salary.
