Network Engineer
Summary
A network security engineer in Singapore who works with sales and product teams to run proof-of-concepts, prepare technical proposals, deliver solution presentations and workshops, and provide pre- and post-sales support. Core focus: network/security architecture (TCP/IP, OSI), firewalls and IPS, with certifications in vendors like Juniper, Extreme, Nokia, and Cisco preferred.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Network Security Engineer is responsible for;
· Work closely with the sales and product teams
· Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and prepare technical proposals
· Conduct solution presentation and workshops
· Provide pre and post-sales support
· Propose and explore new and upcoming technologies in the market
· Perform any other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
· Good knowledge of Security Design Architecture, OSI model, TCP/IP model, Network Security and Protocols
· Experience in security technologies, including firewall and IPS
· 1-5 years experience in the IT Security domain in a technical role.
· Experience in Network/Data Center deployment experience.
· Preferably, candidates should hold relevant technical certifications in Juniper, Extreme, Nokia, and/or Cisco.
