Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Engineer with around 5 years of experience to support and maintain enterprise network and firewall infrastructure. The role involves hands-on network operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and project support across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Network & Firewall Operations

• Install, configure and maintain network and firewall equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity and network issues.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patching and configuration changes.
• Support LAN/WAN operations and connectivity across multiple sites.
• Perform basic firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Assist with network implementation, migration and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct network health checks and support incident resolution.

Technical Support & Documentation

• Troubleshoot network outages and performance issues.
• Maintain network configuration, topology and technical documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow change management procedures.
• Maintain network and firewall asset inventory.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Provide L1/L2 technical support and escalate complex issues when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience with Zscaler is preferred
• Good hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco switches/routers.
• Experience with Fortinet or other firewall technologies is an advantage.
• Good understanding of network security and troubleshooting.
• Experience in network monitoring and maintenance.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Willingness to participate in project implementation and occasional after-hours maintenance when required
