Network Engineer
Summary

About the role
Xsoft Pte Ltd is a leading provider of AI cluster and cloud services. This role involves analysing technical requirements, performing network design, planning and setup of network systems, and proposing solutions related to IP Transit and Peering to ensure diverse connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse technical requirement, perform network design, planning and setup of network systems
- Propose solution related to IP Transit / Peering to have a diverse connectivity
- Analyse traffic data, capacity planning for future expansion and optimise routing performance to lowest latency
- Evaluate and conduct testing on new tools to enhance route optimisation
- Coordinate with partner to analysis and performance tuning on traffic routing
- Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, policies, procedures and service records
- Manage the inventory of network devices
- Provide network operation support, problem determination and troubleshoot network incidents
- Participate and provide technical support in network implementation projects wherever and whenever required
About you
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 2+ years hand on experience in either Nvidia(Mellanox), Cisco, Arista, and Huawei products
- Strong technical knowledge in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN and Segment Routing
- Experience in Peering / IP Transit and Data Center connectivity
- Exposure to DDoS deployment, familiar with netflow and flowspec, VPN / IPSec
- Systems administration experience with Linux
- Network related certification (e.g CCNA/CCNP) is a plus
- Able to work independently and fast paced environment
- Good communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Required to provide on-call support occasionally
