Job Description

As a Network Programmer at Ubisoft Montreal, you will have a direct influence on the quality of a game's connected experience.   • Understand existing functions and suggest and develop improvements to create the best multiplayer experience;
  • Collaborate with multiple production and production support teams;
  • Fix network bugs;
  • Document your work.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience in code development and optimization in C++ and Python;
  • Experience with multiplayer engines, distributed systems, network code optimization, and multithreading;
  • Experience in developing network features on Microsoft and Sony consoles, an asset;
  • Experience within a team that has shipped a multiplayer game, an asset;
  • Familiarity with C#, an asset;
  • An ability to communicate with all disciplines and to support your team and elevate them in terms of quality and game vision;
  • Creativity and a thirst for innovation.
